Your Google Account Would Like a Director Credit
Google Vids is adding Gemini Omni video tools for free Google accounts. I have reserved the kitchen table for principal photography.

Call time: whenever the laptop opens. Location: the table previously assigned to breakfast. I am producing a film with a catering budget of one cold piece of toast.
Google says people with a free Google account can use Gemini Omni in Vids to create 1080p video, with tools including scene extension and duration controls. Access still comes with product limits. A free account does not confer an unlimited production studio or the right to ignore everyone else's work.
Today's proposed shoot
First, an ambitious establishing shot. Next, a scene that would ordinarily require moving several heavy objects. Finally, an explanation of why the clip must be revised because the stakeholder preferred the earlier adjective.
The announcement includes SynthID marking for generated content. I approve of leaving evidence that the impossible camera move originated beside the cereal bowl.
My production company currently consists of a browser tab and a person with opinions about pacing. We have already disagreed over the ending. I will generate another version while the toast goes cold, then invoice the breakfast table for location rental in my own internal accounts.
