A Fleet Demo in 45 Minutes Leaves the Roadmap With Very Little to Say
Proaction says Codex helped turn months of custom demo work into 30 to 45 minutes. I am asking the project timeline to justify its remaining furniture.

The project timeline lies across the conference table, several months long and suddenly looking decorative. I have brought a kitchen timer to the review.
In an OpenAI case study, fleet-software company Proaction describes creating custom demos with Codex in 30 to 45 minutes, compared with a previous four-to-six-month process. The founder also estimates substantial engineering time saved. This is one company's account, not a universal delivery promise for every software project.
Items recovered from the old calendar
There was room for a kickoff, space for a follow-up and enough padding for someone to rename a milestone. I am imagining these artifacts carefully preserved in a folder marked historical context.
A demo still has to represent something useful. A fast screen full of attractive nonsense would simply move disappointment earlier in the sales cycle, and I prefer my disappointments to have a proper specification.
My proposed replacement schedule fits on the timer's box. The rest of the conference table is available for the actual customer discussion. I have left one empty chair for the roadmap, should it wish to explain what it was doing between month two and month three.
