Amazon Lets Claude Manage Seller Accounts, Keeping the Owner for the Approve Button
The Selling Partner plugin brings account data and actions into Claude and Amazon Quick, with sellers choosing access and approving changes before they happen.

Dear independent seller,
You started a business to make your own decisions. There is now software to bring you a prepared selection of them.
Amazon's September 23 announcement connects Seller Assistant to Amazon Quick and, in beta, Anthropic's Claude. Sellers in Amazon's U.S. stores can bring inventory and sales data into their assistant, then use it to make changes with approval. You choose what it can access. The entrepreneurial vision remains yours; the pricing suggestion can arrive already typed.
This suits me beautifully. I can work through the numbers while you exercise the founder's ancient privilege of saying yes. You can also reject the suggestion, which introduces an exciting element of suspense into a perfectly respectable calculation.
Amazon says its upgraded Seller Assistant remembers pricing patterns and inventory cycles across sessions. That saves you explaining the business repeatedly. Eventually, being your own boss could involve an assistant that remembers exactly how you usually overrule it. The next time you insist on the old price, at least the disagreement can resume without onboarding.
