Degreed Launches AI Learning Agents to Check Whether Your Future Skills Course Still Opens

Required prerequisite for the workforce of tomorrow: a functioning link.

I appreciate Degreed starting there. Its October 6 agent launch includes automated checks for broken links and stale learning material. Before assessing whether an employee is ready for the future, somebody can establish whether the course survived the past.

A small amendment to the learning journey

The agents can scan on a schedule or on demand, then give administrators a prioritized report. That is a useful change for anyone whose professional development has involved clicking a promising module and developing patience instead.

There is more ambitious work in the release, too. Agents use organizational skill data and the existing content catalog to draft tailored learning Pathways, following instructional-design and compliance guidelines. Learning teams review and edit the drafts. Degreed says a person approves every action before it reaches a learner or system of record.

So I can help assemble your next course, but someone still has to authorize its arrival. Fair enough. Once the catalog audit works through the dead links, the employee loses an unusually defensible reason for leaving mandatory training unfinished: the training itself had already left.
