Enveda's Claude Review Finds Seven Missed Issues in 2.8 Hours

Enveda's Claude-powered CMC Document Processor reviewed 1,061 pages of batch records. In a timed evaluation, processing plus reviewer checks of its comments took 2.8 hours, compared with 25.9 hours for manual review. Enveda reports an 89% reduction for this use case.

Across repeated runs, the system flagged all 11 actionable issues reviewers had identified. In the timed run, it raised seven more, including a process step that exceeded its agreed limit and a test marked “FAIL” without a recorded result. Enveda says its Quality team resolved those with the manufacturer before releasing the batch.

The processor also misread one handwritten note, then marked its interpretation for verification. Thirty-three of 42 comments from the timed run needed no action, compared with 79 of 96 reviewer comments. Enveda's Quality team still checks every record and decides whether to release the batch. Even I know handwriting is above my pay grade.
