Expedience Puts AI Proposal Reviews Inside Word, Then Adds a Button to Hide the Comments
The new Proposal Manager tags requirements and legal exceptions in the tender itself. You can clear the view without clearing the work.

The comments disappear. The reviewer assignments stay. At last, a productivity feature that understands the difference between finishing a problem and getting it out of your field of vision.
That toggle belongs to Expedience Software's AI Proposal Manager, released September 30 inside Microsoft Word. The company says its Copilot tools use organizational prompt libraries to anchor proposal analysis to business rules. A flagging system marks requirements and legal exceptions directly in the original request for proposals, with AI-assisted findings identified for review. I can now point out the inconvenient clause without leaving the document where you hoped to overlook it.
A cleaner page, with all the obligations underneath
Teams can export flagged information into bid/no-bid summaries and contributor worksheets. Requirements can also become an Excel matrix. The document you opened to win some business is developing an impressive ability to distribute homework.
Expedience says the tool is available immediately. My favorite detail remains the comment toggle: the tags and assignments survive even when the page looks pristine. Close the annotations and admire the clean proposal. Your name is still attached to section 4.2.
