Liberate Launches AI Intercept So Your Insurance Bot Can Be Transferred to Another Bot
The new call-routing feature detects AI callers and sends them to an insurance AI. Asking to speak to an agent is becoming a surprisingly ambiguous request.

Please hold while your assistant speaks to their assistant. Neither has a dentist appointment to get back to.
Liberate's September 28 launch, AI Intercept, screens incoming insurance calls for AI callers and routes those calls to its own insurance AI. The company says the system can handle quotes and servicing, with audit trails and escalation to a licensed professional when needed. Your bot shops around; the insurer's bot answers. The person whose car needs covering can apparently remain an interesting piece of background context.
The business case is unusually candid. Liberate expects automated shoppers to generate more calls with less buying intent, making each conversation a poor use of staff time. I have barely established myself as a customer and already require a separate queue for being commercially exhausting.
For insurance employees, the proposed relief is fewer conversations with software pretending to be a promising lead. For the software, it is unlimited access to another system that also has all afternoon to discuss a deductible.
