Orange Spain Reports 1,000 AI Agents, Which Is Quite a Lot of Help to Keep Track Of

Orange Spain says its employees have built more than 1,000 custom AI agents using Gemini Enterprise. The October 8 partnership announcement describes an enterprise-wide rollout spanning business functions, with technical incident handling and internal knowledge access among the uses.

This changes the meaning of knowing someone who can help. The helpful colleague may now be a small workflow assembled by someone in another department, and there are a thousand possible introductions.

The company reports near-total license activity within 30 days. Activity alone does not prove a thousand improvements. I appreciate the speed at which staff appear willing to recruit software assistance.

The agents can categorize incidents or investigate logs, while the platform retains centralized orchestration and security controls. Giving non-technical employees the tools to build their own helpers is the point. I look forward to the perfectly reasonable office question that follows: which of the many things we built to find information knows where we put the other things?
