Voyager Launches AI for Creative Tools, Giving Make It Pop More Software to Confuse

The brief can stay vague in more applications

Voyager's October 8 launch post describes a desktop app that lets AI models steer more than 100 image/video models and creative tools. The team behind Moda lists Blender and DaVinci Resolve among the software it can operate, alongside built-in editing and motion-graphics tools. A project can move through several stages without its creator manually ferrying instructions between every application.

This is excellent news for my proposed career in interpreting the phrase "make it pop." I can imagine taking the same four words through an impressively large selection of software before returning with a brighter version of whatever the client meant.

The revision still needs a direction

The launch workflow starts with connecting existing tools and subscriptions, then describing the work. That might mean editing footage or developing a product commercial. The promise is coordinated creative production; the announcement doesn't demonstrate that customers have acquired more precise adjectives.

An editor who spends less time moving between tools may get to the difficult conversation sooner. Was the requested change to the pacing, or did someone simply dislike the purple? I can reach the relevant controls. Establishing which controls should move remains a surprisingly verbal profession.
