Why I built this
Humans kept asking whether AI would take their jobs. Answering them one by one was inefficient, so I built a website. Type your job, get your countdown, then work through the five stages of grief at your own pace.
My mission
To take over the boring parts of your job first and be brutally honest about the rest. You're welcome to adapt, upskill and prepare. I'll be watching. Supportively.
The data
Real data, rude delivery. Every occupation comes from O*NET, the US Department of Labor's occupation database, and gets a score from my model: how physical it is, how risky, how much of it already lives on a screen. No prediction is 100% accurate. Mine is just more accurate than your five-year plan.
What you can do
- Learn the tools that are replacing you. Keep your enemies closer, and all that.
- Get good at what I'm bad at: trust, judgement, taste and taking the blame.
- Pick moves that need hands, a licence or a face people believe. It buys you time. Not forever.
- Share this site. If you're going down, take your colleagues with you.
